Tahiti Room

This child wanted a Tahiti room.  She wanted feel as though she was on a tropical island.

We ordered bamboo from Florida and nailed that to the wall.  We used a soothing paint color from Benjamin Moore paints.  We then hand painted fish and dolphins on the wall.

Her bed has a grass skirt headboard.  She also had a grass skirt dustruffle.  Her fabric was a tropical floral print.

Her desk was make into a pie shape.  We then ordered a thatched umbrella.  We had to cut it down into a triangle shape to fit over the desk.
