Option One:

Start a Special Spaces Chapter In Your Area

Special Spaces National is always in search of talented and dedicated individuals wanting to start a Special Spaces chapter in their area.  Special Spaces staff spends a lot of time, energy and funds to help others create a successful Special Spaces Charter.  In order, to assure quality and safety of our room makeovers, Special Spaces requires that the Chapter Director adhere to strict guidelines of the organization.  Special Spaces National will provide the director with all necessary manuals and documents needed to create their own chapter under the auspices of Special Spaces National.  The following but not limited to will be provided to the director:

*consultation and guidance from the director of Special Spaces National

*all necessary documents and manuals

*all legal documents

*liability insurance

*exclusive design and implementation support

*501 C (3) status from Special Spaces National

*all accounting and tax support: National does all the accounting for the Chapters

*website presence

*fundraising support

These are just some of the items that are provided to create a new chapter.  It will be at the director’s discretion on the amount of rooms created in a fiscal year.  However; due to the amount of time and funds necessary to support a new chapter, there will be a $1500.00 affiliation fee.  After completion of their 10th room makeover, $500.00 will be reimbursed to them.  It is vital that directors are sincere in their intentions to create a successful chapter in order to create dream bedrooms for deserving children.  For more information, contact Jennifer@specialspaces.org


Option Two:

Develop and implement your own room makeover nonprofit


Starting a nonprofit from the ground up can be a long and frustrating process. Why reinvent the wheel? Special Spaces nonprofit consultant will guide you through the set-up of your own nonprofit. It can take as long as 18 months to retain your 501 C (3) status in order to receive charitable donations. Chartering and obtaining permits can be confusing. Then the process of organizing and implementing a room makeover nonprofit can be frustrating. Our consultant will provide and guide you through all necessary legal, financial and organizational issues for an 18 month period. So if you would like the support of Special Spaces National but wish to run your own nonprofit, this would be a great option for you. Nonprofit consulting fee is $3500.00.
